Curry Real Estate Services Wins International Recognition
The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), an international organization for property and asset managers, announced Curry Real Estate Services as the winner of its Accredited Management Organization (AMO) of the Year award at its Global Summit last week in Toronto, Canada. (October 17, 2023)
Each year, the award recognizes the firm that best represents dedication to the advancement of the real estate management profession, outstanding customer service, ethical business practices and support of employee professional development and leadership growth
“It is an honor for Curry just to be mentioned alongside highly respected finalists for this award but to be selected as the winner is very meaningful,” said Ellen Todd, president of Curry Real Estate Services. “Curry is a small, family-owned company yet this recognition by a global organization demonstrates that organizations of any size can perform at the highest levels of their industry. I am proud of how much the Curry team takes our high standards to heart every day in service to our clients, tenants and residents.”
IREM, founded in 1933 with nearly 20,000 individual and 500 company members, introduced the AMO (Accredited Management Organization) accreditation for property management firms in 1945 to set standards for firm conduct and client service.
Curry’s involvement in IREM dates to the 1940’s when company founder Charles F. Curry served as president of the organization. Since then, many employees have served in leadership roles both locally and nationally as well as earned the organization’s premier designation, Certified Property Manager (CPM).
