Tina Bowen has been with Curry Real Estate Services since 1997 and has lived onsite as the full-time property manager at Pioneer Park Mini Storage for more than 20 years.
“Our customers really appreciate having staff available to them during working hours,” Bowen said. “Like in any customer service situation, it’s nice to have a real person to help you with questions or to problem solve. And then there is the rare occasion when an urgent matter arises, like when we had winter days so cold the gate froze shut. I was here to get it open.”

Ranging in size from 5X5 to 10X25 for climate-controlled units and 5X10 to 10X30 for non-climate-controlled units, Bowen said there is a busy season. That is when school lets out and families are more prone to try to move and get settled again before school starts up in the fall.
Bowen said she is able to address most questions when she does a move-in with new customers and can offer a storage expert’s advice on things like the kinds of lock that should be used or what items should not be stored in a non-climate-controlled unit.
Before serving at Pioneer Park, Bowen was a property manager at a Curry Real Estate Services apartment community where she lived with her husband and their two girls who were little at the time. “Living at Pioneer Park has been great for our family,” she said. “We have loved it. Customers are very respectful of our posted hours – some have known me for years and years.
These days, Bowen said that even while on vacation she often “stay-cays” at Pioneer Park where she is helping to raise their grandson.
