Matt joined Curry Real Estate Services in 2022 and leads the commercial division. He is responsible for management and leasing of commercial properties throughout the metropolitan area, providing brokerage services, property consulting, and project management.

Previously, he served in a leadership role as Operations Director for the Kansas City office of a global commercial real estate services company. During his more than 15 years in the industry, he’s worked with a variety of portfolios which include office, retail, and industrial properties, helping landlords and tenants of all sizes meet their financial and operational goals.

Matt is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) as a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He has previously been recognized as CPM of the Year and served as the 2022 Kansas City Chapter President. Currently, he is serving at the national level as the 2024-2025 Regional Vice President for the Midwest Region. Additionally, he has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and participates as a member of the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA).

He’s also involved in the community. In 2013, he was elected as the youngest member to have served on the Park Hill School District Board of Education. As Board President in 2016-2017, the district passed a bond issue with a record amount of support which led to the construction of a new elementary and middle school as well as upgrades to all district facilities. Since then, he has been involved in the Northland Chamber of Commerce, Park Hill Education Foundation, Northland Neighborhoods, Inc., and other community organizations/initiatives.

He grew up in Kansas City’s Northland, graduating from Park Hill High School before earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and then his MBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
