Heather Jordan Receives Accredited Residential Manager Certification
Curry Real Estate Services is excited to announced that Heather Jordan, property manager in Curry’s multi-family division, recently earned the Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification.
ARM certification is one of the most prestigious designations awarded to real estate managers. To receive this highly respected recognition, Jordan was required to demonstrate her experience through managing a minimum portfolio, participating in a rigorous 40-hour class, taking a comprehensive exam and receiving letters of recommendation by industry peers.
“Earning this designation is crucial as a property manager,” Jordan said. “Not only does it affirm to my residents that I am qualified to provide their property with the highest level of care, but it introduces me to a network of highly-trained professionals willing to exchange best practices. Joining this accomplished group will provide me with opportunities to continue to grow as a property manager.”
In addition to providing evidence for knowledge and experience, ARM certification demonstrates that a property manager is an ethical practitioner. ARM candidates must complete an ethics course and pledge to uphold the IREM Code of Professional Ethics.
“We are very proud of Heather for earning this designation,” said Ellen Todd, president and CEO of Curry. “While attaining ARM certification is an extensive process, it provides our renters, owners and investors with the knowledge that our property managers are qualified, ethical and continuously learning best-practices. As a member of the Curry team for more than 4 years, she is extremely deserving of this recognition.”
