Curry Welcomes Dan Sweeney to the Team.

by Suzanne Licata

Dan Sweeney, Curry Real Estate Services’ newest commercial broker and property manager, has been working in the real estate industry since high school. He’s paid his dues, starting out on pool maintenance crews during summers through high school and college. He has since served in management roles working with tenants and owners in both the residential and commercial sectors with a plan to learn every aspect of the real estate business.

“I’m excited to join the Curry commercial real estate team,” said Sweeney. “Curry is fast-paced and I have the opportunity to do both leasing and managing, something you don’t see in many organizations. The advantage is obvious in that as a broker, I write the lease, and as a manager, I have to live with the lease I wrote. It affords me an intimate understanding of the property and focuses me on a win-win for both the owner and tenant.”

Prior to joining Curry, Sweeney served as assistant property manager for the Kansas City office of an international commercial real estate services and investment management company, responsible for more than a half million square feet of retail and office property. Earlier he was an onsite building manager for the Missouri/Kansas office of one of the largest residential property management companies in the U.S. and Canada.

A licensed REALTOR® in Missouri and Kansas, Sweeney is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association of Metropolitan Kansas City (BOMA), serving the organization in different capacities, most recently on the golf tournament planning committee.

Curry is delighted to welcome Dan to the commercial property real estate team!
