Patrick Flynn Serves as 2026 President of IREM KC

by Suzanne Licata

In 2026, Patrick Flynn CPM®, Curry Real Estate Services’ vice president, became the most recent member of our team to serve as president of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Kansas City Chapter (IREM KC). Since 1968, seven Curry professionals have stepped up to this leadership role, starting with the late Ray Brock, followed by Paul Fessler, Ron Castle, Richard Wertz, Mike Long, Matt Pepper and now, Patrick.

Curry believes in what IREM KC values – advancing professionalism in the real estate industry. Earning IREM’s credentials, including the CPM®, ARM®, ACoM, and AMO®, is representative of our commitment to good management. Curry encourages and supports our team members to earn these professional accreditations and has, as an organization, achieved Accredited Management Organization (AMO) status by IREM – the standard for excellence in the industry.

In 2023, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) announced Curry Real Estate Services as the winner of its Accredited Management Organization (AMO) of the Year award at its Global Summit in Toronto, Canada. We take our commitment to good management seriously!

So does Patrick. He joined Curry in 2017 as regional property manager, welcoming increasing levels of responsibility over the years as he was promoted to assistant vice president and now vice president. He became a board member of IREM KC in 2021 and most recently served as the organization’s vice president and treasurer.

“Curry believes in and supports any involvement in the profession that not only improves our own ability to achieve the company’s high standards of good management to our clients, tenants and residents but that also advances the profession as a whole,” Patrick said. “I have learned a lot through my involvement with IREM KC and appreciate the opportunity to give a little back.”
