Curry is absolutely surrounded by people for whom we have profound appreciation – our staff and tenants. They are just The Best! So we did a couple of things this summer that hinted at how delighted we are to work with and for them and it started with a Royal good time. (August 15, 2022)

Brynn McCan is a Woman in Leadership

Brynn McCan is a woman in leadership. Joining Curry Real Estate Services in 2007 to head human relations, she quickly took on other responsibilities including supporting CEO Ellen Todd in her day-to-day activities, oversight of IT as well as shepherding crucial operational initiatives that are key to Curry maintaining its highest standards of excellence, integrity, and transparency.

Harvesters – One of our Favorite Places to Volunteer!

Kansas City’s Harvesters Community Food Network collects, packages, stores and distributes goods to a network of nearly 800 partner agencies – food pantries, community kitchens and shelters that provide groceries or meals to families, children and seniors in need.

Kearney Commercial Shopping Center Gets a New Look.

Built in 1975 and acquired by Curry in 1996, the real estate services firm recently completed a full exterior renovation of the more than 35,000-square-foot center in Kearney, Missouri, which is about 20 miles north of Kansas City on I-35.

Windmill Square Keeps its Charms in Latest Renovation

Windmill Shopping Center, nearly 50,000 square feet, nearly 50 years old, is likely the most whimsical among the thriving office/retail centers in the metropolitan area. In 2021, Curry began Windmill’s exterior renovation, making repairs as needed and introducing lively, welcoming colors to the paint scheme. The work completed in December.

New, renewing, expanding tenants inspire with their vision for the future

Last year was inspiring. Yes, 2021 – inspiring! We had a front row seat to the burning commitment of entrepreneurs, professionals and trades people investing in their desirable future. We saw for ourselves their overcoming nature and the creativity displayed in navigating obstacles. We came alongside as they sought to open a door to what is next with an expectation of good.

Matt Pepper Joins Curry Real Estate Services Commercial Team

Curry Real Estate Services is happy to announce the addition of Matt Pepper as vice president on its commercial division. In this role, Pepper will help lead the property management and leasing activities for the company’s commercial properties throughout the metropolitan area.

The Small Mall is Big in Happy Holiday Memories

Among the many happy memories of Christmases past is one so dear, so classic that it practically has its own alumni group (especially among Northlanders) – The Small Mall at the former Antioch Shopping Center. The iconic just-for-children teeny Christmas mall within the mall was the brainchild of the elves at Curry Real Estate Company who for more than 40 years built the Small Mall, furnished it, stocked the gifts on display and provided the “sales” staff who helped little children shop for and wrap presents priced $2 – $12 all on their own – no adults allowed!
